Be Back Sometime

Hey, I just wanted to write a short post that I will be taking a break from blogging and writing for a while.

Due to unseen circumstances with finances, I am moving home.  At 23 years old, completely broke.  With five days to pack everything and move.  Not exactly my idea of fun.  I absolutely hate moving anyway.  And now I'll be spending days figuring out what is going into storage because my parents only literally have a bed for me in the spare room which is also the home-school classroom and I get a little bit of the closet.  I am grateful, but at the same time I feel like my life just completely turned the wrong way and I'm not progressing.  Writing doesn't make any money.  I can't afford my rent, bills, and student loan payments at the same time, serving coffee isn't enough.  It sucks and I feel like a failure.

So, I won't be doing any posting for a while or commenting on any blogs.  Sorry.

I'll let you know when I'm moved.

  1. Hopefully things get better for you. I feel like a failure too. I haven't been able to get a job with my degree, and I'm almost 27. At least I have my family, though money is always tight.

Life throws obstacles at you, but try not to let it get you down too much. Things have a tendency to work out for the best in the end.

  2. It's definitely hard moving back in with your parents, but the majority of us have or will have to at some point. Don't feel bad. When I moved back with my parents, I was upset but eventually I decided it was a restart. I've used this time to refocus, save money, and plan my next steps in life.

Writing is one of the most difficult careers you could ever decide to pursue, but few things are as gratifying and life-changing as a good book. Don't give up on your dreams, I know they sometimes seem impossible and sometimes you feel they'll never pay off. But don't stop, you're a good writer, and you're hard work is bound to pay off. :)

  7. Everything will be fine InshAllah....We will surely miss you and hoping for you to come back soon. Always remember without obstacles and problems our life doesn't have a meaning and secondly my Mom always says me that God keeps testing his favourite people and I am sure you are on of the God's favourite:)

Good Luck! We will miss you and come back soon :)
