July Goals

It's July and it's hot.  Miserably hot.  So that makes everyone at work want to order lots of crap for me to make.  And I'm cranky it is so hot.  Seriously. Need. Something. Else. To. Do.

Enough complaining, it's time for a new list of goals for the month. :D

Here's my goals from June:
*  Continue revisions of "Nameless"
This is going very well!!  I only have 172 "that".  Much better!!

*  Read "Quitter" by Jon Acuff

*  Have a successful interview on June 4th
Still waiting to hear back from a different interview, I should hear back this week!  *crosses fingers*

Finished all of my goals, success!! :)

Goals for July:

* Continue revisions for "Nameless"
Continue revisions from critique partners, hopefully get through chapter 12.

* Read "Insurgent" by Veronica Roth

* Write to 10,000 words on "Unless"
Current word count is 3,553 so I have to write 6,447 words.

* Research ideas for an Elvish word to tattoo on my wrist

I'm excited for these goals!  Hopefully July is a good month!  I have two friends' birthdays, my sister's bridal shower, and my cousin's wedding.  Busy, but I think they will go well.

Also, I have 200 followers - stay tuned for the GIVEAWAY on July 7th!!  :)

How did your June goals go?  What are your goals for July?

  1. Congrats on meeting your goals!

    Sorry you're suffering in the heat. :( In the UK, we had a lovely week of summer back in April, but ever since it has been grey and rainy! Feel free to send some of your sunshine my way! :D

      Wow, the weather in the UK sounds great to me. I love rain! You are welcome to have some of our heat - it's 100 degrees for the next few days. Yuk!

  2. Extreme heat here as well! Congratulations for completing your June goals, I feel very ineffective for being somebody who does not set monthly goals.

    1. This heat is a killer! Thanks! You don't have to create monthly goals, I just find it a motivator or I don't do it. :)

  9. Congrats on 200 followers! And I'm happy to see your revisions for Nameless are coming along well - I know I've been enjoying my small part in it:)

    OHMYGOODNESS you're looking at Tolkien tattoos too?? Blogger soulmates, we must be. I'm looking to go get my first ever tattoo with my bestfriendsister (we're getting pooh holding onto the blue balloon on the inside of our left arms) and I'm panicking just about that haha. I want to do it I've just never been good at making permanent decisions so I'm freaking out a little bit lol. But considering its meant to remind us of each other even when we're so far apart its a definitely a lovely idea. But anyway, sorry I'm ranting, I've always wanted to get something from LOTR since it is my first and biggest inspiration. I've been thinking "even the smallest person can change the course of the future". Any ideas for what you might want? :)

    /end rant.
