Henry Jones, Jr. Yep, I mean Indiana Jones - doctor of archeology and part-time teacher. I'd take his class. My favorite of the trilogy (yes, I don't count the one with Shia LeBoring because I don't like him - other than I liked him in "Holes") is the second one, "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom". It's different from the other two which have heavy faith themes and though I'm a Christian, my favorite one is where a guy tries to rip out Indiana's heart. Try to figure that one out! :)
Also, I love a shirtless young Harrison Ford. And he is shirtless for a good part of the movie.
And... there's a scene with him playing with a young boy, being all incredibly attractive and fatherly. I had to tell my ovaries he was too old. :(
AND... why I was searching for shirtless pictures of Harrison Ford for (ahem) twenty minutes. I found this great article on 10 Reason Why "Temple of Doom" is Better Than You Remember. (Now with 91% more chilled monkey brains). It made me laugh! I love the chilled monkey brains scene. This movie is just creepy! It's the only creepy I really like.
What's your favorite Indiana Jones movie? If you say the 4th one... I might have to hunt you down... Just kidding! Maybe...

Camp NaNoWriMo Update: (because I'm crazy and doing the A-Z and Nano!)
Title: "Breathless"
Genre: YA/NA Urban Fantasy
Goal: 30,000
Day Eight: 13,827
Not really a productive day of writing. I wrote 297 words. Yep, lame. Though I did catch up on A-Z posts and commenting! So did good there, but didn't write much. Hopefully I will have more time today to remedy the last two days of bad word counts.
My ovaries didn't care! Then his some came around and I was just asdfghjkl-ing! :D x
ReplyDeleteLol, my ovaries keep dreaming! :D
DeleteYep, that's my favorite Jones movie. But then, I like them all. Okay, the last one was *aehm*, but I'm not counting that ;) Hey, you're almost half-way to your goal! :)
ReplyDeleteLol - it's such a great one! I like all three, not the *ahem*. :) I am almost half-way! :)
DeleteAh, I love the gruesome banquet scene! Forgotten about that one.
ReplyDeleteLive snakes and chilled monkey brains - hilarious, but I'd be dining out. :)
DeleteThat last one was so bad, so bad...

Moody Writing
It definitely was so, so bad. There was no saving it.
DeleteShia LeBoring....lol, loved that :)
ReplyDeleteEven though your favorite is my -least- favorite, it's o.k...you highlighted one of the coolest movie characters of all time.
For that, I tip my fedora to you. Great post! :)
Left and Write
Lol - thanks! I thought it was a little clever. :) I do like all three of them; Indy is one of the coolest characters of all time. :)
DeleteI tip my fedora to you too!
Love me some Indiana Jones! Gosh I could watch the first three movies everyday. <3
ReplyDeleteI could too! If only I didn't have to work, lol. :)
DeleteJust FYI, my brain got halfway through the title of your post and switched to reading it in Sean Connery's voice. :-)
ReplyDeleteRaiders of the Lost Ark actually TERRIFIED me when I was a kid, and it was ten years before I could watch it again. But my favorite was always The Last Crusade, because I really liked the father/son thing with Indy and his dad.
As for movie #4, well, I didn't much care for it (to put it kindly). For more, it's the last movie I review in this post: http://barenakedcritic.wordpress.com/2008/09/07/summer-review-part-1/
Okay, now that is awesome! Sean Connery's voice. Wow. :)
DeleteRaiders scared me too - the scene where they melt! Yikes! I like the father/son thing too. :)
My favourite is The Last Crusade and Indiana Jones is my favourite character played by Harrison Ford
ReplyDeleteChippy
Harrison Ford plays it sooooo well!
DeleteYeah, you're not going to go wrong with those shirtless pics. :D I actually forgot his real name was Henry so I got a pleasant surprise when I clicked on your post and saw it was about Indy! :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely can't go wrong with the shirtless pics. :) I'm glad you were pleasantly surprised! :)
DeleteTheres so many great action scenes in the indy movies, like when Julian Glover character chooses badly.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the action scenes! *hums the theme song* Harrison Ford does a great job with them!
DeleteHey!!!! These I have seen!!!! I loved the first one, well because like any first love it will always be special. Sean Connery was a great addition in the third one. I guess I wasn't a huge fan of the middle child!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Glad you've seen this one! :) I love all three and Sean Connery definitely is a great addition to the third. :)
DeleteDo I get hunted down for not having seen any of the Indiana Jones movies? :P I've just never gotten around to them . . .
ReplyDeleteNope! You are safe, don't worry! :)
DeleteMy favorite would have to be Last Crusade.
ReplyDeleteDropping by from A to Z. It's my first year participating.

Last Crusade is great! Love me some Sean Connery!
DeleteI've never actually seen any Indiana Jones movies and it's not even because I'm super young. :( I have to agree with you that when an attractive man is great with kids, it's a huge turn on!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with a-z. :)
An attractive man with kids is such a turn-on! It gets those hormones saying have a baby with him. :)
DeleteYou should see them someday! You might like them!
Yes to shirtless Indiana Jones. *fans face*
ReplyDeleteI loved loved loved The Temple of Doom. Anyone who says it was terrible doesn't know what they are talking about. haha
*fans face thinking about it* I know what you mean. :)
DeleteSo true! It was an awesome movie - they must not know! :)
Oh, yes. I loved young Harrison Ford. Older Harrison Ford isn't too bad, either. ;)
ReplyDeleteLol, older Harrison Ford does surprisingly still look pretty good. :)
DeleteI read the title and went "that name sounds familiar" - lol
ReplyDeleteI loved the original trilogy, the other was ok. It was good to see Indy again even if the movie wasn't that great.
My favorite is the Last Crusade, like a couple of them above, I really liked Harrison Ford & Sean Connery relationship. They were great together.
Wow! Such an amazing and helpful post this is. I really really love it. It's so good and so awesome. I am just amazed. I hope that you continue to do your work like this in the future also my life and work ebook
