August Goals

It's MOVING day! Not for my blog, but for me personally. After living a year in my parent's basement to get on my feet after getting into debt and before finding a wonderful job, I am ready to be living on my own again. Well, I have an awesome roommate and I get my own bathroom. Sounds wonderful! (So, I am not actually *here* today, but I will be responding to comments once I get the internet set up at my new place.)

It's time for a progress update on my goals!

Here are my goals from July:
* Another round of revisions for "Breathless"
Done and I'm very happy with how the revisions turned out! :)

* Celebrate my 3rd year of blogging

* Pack to move to my new apartment!

3 out of 3 goals were accomplished! Now that was a great month - busy, but great! :) I'm currently working on "The Damned", my new WIP and I'm very excited about it. I hope I can make some progress on it next month!

Goals for August:
* Write to 20,000 words on my novel, "The Damned"
My current word count is 8,752 - so I need to write 11,248 words.

* Read "Friday Night Alibi" by Cassie Mae
Super excited to read this book! Cassie is awesomesauce and an incredible writer!

* Unpack and settle into my new apartment

Those should be fairly easy goals!! Seriously, I cannot wait to write more on "The Damned". It's wonderful! How did your goals for July go? What are your goals for August?

  6. That Star Trek clip freaks me out, but I can't stop looking at it. Congrats on accomplishing your goals, and setting up new ones! :) Writer’s Mark
