My NaNo Journey So Far... in Gifs

It's the start of the second week of NaNoWriMo and I'm making some progress, but I thought I'd share how my adventure with my new novel started.

Cold to the Touch
YA Sci-Fi Romance

Day 1: It started off with a bit of crazy writing and some interesting initial twists...

Day 2: I love this book!

Day 3: The plot is starting to develop a little bit and it's getting a bit harder to write. I'm adding in new elements and trying to figure out how the scientific parts work together.

Day 5: I hate this novel. I don't like my main character or her love interest. They have no chemistry. She acts like a twelve-year-old and though he is smoking hot, he's not working for the character. I've barely managed 5,000 words.
This book is eating my soul...

So... this happens. I quit.

Cold to the Touch - NO WAY!

And I become a NaNoRebel. I pull out a novel I shelved two months ago because I didn't like it. Twisted, a YA Fantasy Romance. I give it thee old college try and start writing. Fast forward to Day 9 and my word count has doubled. I wrote 6,102 words in one day! :)

Somebody to Love
YA Fantasy Romance
Current word count: 20,220

Much better! How's your NaNo journey going? I really think I can actually finish this book now. :) Good luck to everyone and beat the doubt of week two! The world needs your novel.
