December Goals

It's December and the countdown to Christmas has begun! Also, the countdown to the end of the year and my birthday is coming! But, first I need to give an update on my goals from last month.

Here are my goals from November:
* Write to 50,000 words on my NaNoWriMo novel, "Somebody to Love"

* See "Ender's Game" in theaters
I didn't get a chance to see it and it is no longer in theaters. Darn, I'll have to catch it when it comes to our cheap/dollar theater in town.

One win. One fail. Not too bad, but I did the same last month, completing one of two goals.

Goals for December:
* See "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug"

* Read "Allegiant" by Veronica Roth

* Finish rereading "The Two Towers" by J.R.R. Tolkien

* Write to 20,000 words on my "Star Trek: 2009" Fanfiction
Yes, I'm writing fanfiction. I love doing it every once in a while. It's great practice writing and I'm addicted to reviews. :)

How did your goals go for last month? What are your goals for December? Good luck with all of your goals and congratulations to everyone who attempted or won NaNoWriMo!! :)

  1. I think I need to set some concrete goals this month to get myself back on track.

  2. My goal for December is to eat gingerbread cookies. I like goals. :) Seriously, though (actually, I am being serious about the gingerbread) my goal is to make more time for fiction writing. The last few months have been all about academic writing (my dissertation), which is why I've been crankier than usual.

  3. Good for you for winning NaNo! It's never an easy feat. Looks like this month's goals are going to be even more fun to complete :)
