Here are my goals from January:
I actually managed to finish both goals before the 9th of January, which I'm very excited about! So, I decided to do some serious reading. I finally finished rereading "The Lord of the Rings" and started The Moral Instruments series. Some reading helped me come up with a new novel idea!
Goals for February
* Participate in the "WIP - The Movie" Bloghop
* Read "Switched" by Cassie Mae
* Write to 10,000 words on "Cursed"
* Hire an editor and cover designer for "Breathless"
I'm very excited about all of those goals, but especially the last one. After this last round of revisions, I added a new scene which really strengthened the book, along with tightening things up. I'm really excited where it is going! I'd really like to push to self-publish. I know I said I planning on publishing it in December, but life got in the way, taking with it a huge helping of doubt. But I'm really exciting about moving forward with it!
How did your goals for January go? Good luck with February!
Well done for completing your goals! I've not started the Lord of the Rings yet - I should really get on it! I hope you enjoy the Mortal Instruments, Cassandra Clare's other series, the Infernal Devices, is even better! :) x
ReplyDeleteYou should start it! It's a long one, but I love Lord of the Rings! :) I just finished the second of The Mortal Instruments. It's good. I'll have to check out her other series too. :)

Good luck with your publishing goals! I'm also hoping to start indie publishing this year. I'm hoping to have at least a few more chapters done in Part III of my WIP this month, if not completely finished.
