January Goals

It's a new year! I can honestly say that last year didn't really go out the best since my parents forgot my birthday. I now know how the girl in Sixteen Candles felt, but oh well. It's over and it's a new year. They also said they'd try to make it up to me.

It's time for an update in monthly goals! I make overall goals for the year, but I also try to post my monthly goals for accountability.

Here are my goals from December:
* Work on revisions for "Somebody to Love"

* See "The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies"

* Spend Christmas with my family

* Create new yearly goals for next year

Three out of four completed - not bad! I didn't finish the first goal, but I did get a chance to read through the novel and I think I do have some potential to fix it, but for now I'm going to shelve it while I work on other things. I did do quite a bit of reading and I finished with 60 books for the year! :) This is what I read last month.

Remake by Ilima Todd
How We Fall by Kate Brauning
Unspeakable by Michelle K. Pickett
Kissing Frogs by Alisha Sevigny
The Trouble with Faking (The Trouble Series #3) by Rachel Morgan

My stats were pretty impressive! I read 16,461 pages! Whew!

Goals for January:
* Query 5 agents with "Silent Beauty"

* Complete first round of revisions for "Nothing Left to Lose"

* Finishing writing Fanfiction story, "The Nature of Evil"

Happy New Year! Good luck with all of your goals! How did your goals from last month go?

  2. Hush about the birthday and all the best with your goals. Especially querying Silent Beauty. Some agent better tap that.
