April Session of Camp NaNoWriMo

I've finally made up my mind. After going back and forth for two weeks, trying to decide if I want to do The A to Z Blogging Challenge next month or the April session of Camp NaNoWriMo, I've picked.

I decided I'm going to do the April session of Camp NaNoWriMo. I've done it the last two years and April seems to be a pretty good writing month for me. I'll be busy because I work two jobs, but I always work two jobs. :) I've also decided I'm going to be rewriting "Sweet Little Lies", which I wrote during NaNo of November last year. I've tried revising it on two separate occasions and have been completely stuck. There's so much that needed fixed after I decided to change a huge plot point and the entire ending. I've decided that I want to completely rewrite the novel. Parts of it I'll be able to save, but other parts can be chucked!!

I'm also renaming it to "Nothing Left to Lose".

Here's a little snippet and my mock cover!

Title: Nothing Left to Lose
Genre/Category: YA Contemporary
Word Count: 60,000
Pitch: Ellie is a cheerleader, who is terrified of heights, has the perfect quarterback boyfriend, and loves high school. Thackery is a male dancer, who doesn't care what other people think of him. When Thackery joins the squad, things become quite a bit complicated. Tragedy and lies keep them apart until they have to rely on each other or feel completely broken.

Good luck to everyone doing the A-Z Blogging Challenge and/or Camp NaNoWriMo! I'll try to visit some of your A-Z posts to encourage you! Have fun!
