March Goals

It's hard to believe that February is over already! Such a short month! Things are still pretty rough for me, but I did enjoy doing to a Father Daughter Dance with my Dad and baby sister. Also, I spent a nice day with my two girl friends watching Star Wars on Valentine's day.

It's time for an update in my monthly writing goals!

Here are my goals from February:
* Celebrate "I love you... I know" Day with my best friend

* Read "Woven" by David Powers King and Michael Jensen

* Pick next writing project and start writing!

All three of my goals were completed! :) Even though things are still pretty rough, I'm making a little progress. I started vaguely working on a new idea and I'm not far into it, but at least I'm writing. I've been struggling with finding a desire to write lately. Life has just been... difficult. Hopefully this month makes it better. I did a little bit of reading this month at least!

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Fraction of Hope (Fraction, #2) by Kelley Lynn
Woven by Michael Jensen, David Powers King
Unexpectedly You by Riley James, Becca Ann

Goals for March:
* Write to 10,000 words on new writing project

* Finish writing Star Trek fanfiction, "Always"

* Buy "The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies" on March 24th

Those should be easy enough goals! How did your goals from February go?

  1. I've seen so many great blogs calling it quits. Theres been times believe me. You have to persevere, hone your niche and stay on course. Its like captain christopher pike says "I believe in you Jim." and we do Krista, remember the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, well, we're the many. The show must go on.

  2. I am so glad February is gone. It was not a fun month. Sorry life has been rough for you. It just seems to be out to get us sometimes.

  3. Hey, I know the authors of those books you read!
I go through phases of whether I feel like writing or not. One reason there is such a lag time between my novels.
And I'm buying the third Hobbit movie! I thought it rocked.

  4. That's awesome you met all your goals! I did pretty good in February. March is a little heavier with touring and a new book release. Hope you're having a good week. :)
